WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
This class is built around 3 days of lecture and theory, learning from real world examples and case studies. Hands-on demonstrations are done with ATS equipment to drive home the information and ensure you know how to use what you learn in your shop!
THIS IS A BRIEF LIST OF TOPICS THAT WILL BE TAUGHT:
•Learn how to confidently capture and interpret in-cylinder, intake and exhaust waveforms using Pressure (PSI), Vacuum Hg and Exhaust H2O sensors.
•Clearly and quickly identify CKP-CMP correlation issues.
•Identify and isolate Intake and/or Exhaust valve sealing issues.
•Quickly and accurately identify piston sealing issues.
•Quickly and accurately identify cylinder(s) misfire.
•Quickly and accurately identify Exhaust restrictions.

After completing our Electronics 101 and Pressure is On classes, interpreting waveforms and understanding how engine cycles are interpreted through the data will be second nature.
